Technological Process

The copper wire recycling machine consists of a feeding machine, a chain conveyor, a crusher, an air classifier, and a pulse dust collector. It features convenient operation, safety and reliability, and efficient and stable operation.

  1. Waste cables undergo initial manual screening to remove iron blocks, magnetic blocks, and slightly larger debris like light switches. The cables are then fed into a shredder to be shredded into 2-3cm segments. Immediately afterwards, they are conveyed to the main crusher via a belt conveyor.
  2. The crusher's primary task is to break the waste cables into granules, thus meeting the requirements for subsequent copper and plastic sorting. Waste cables and wires fall into the crushing chamber from the inlet hopper. The crushing chamber consists of a fixed blade and a rotor. Rotary blades are mounted on the rotor. The waste wires are rapidly crushed by the rotating and fixed blades on the rotor.
  3. The crushed raw material particles are then subjected to centrifugal force. They pass through a filter screen into a pellet hopper for collecting finished particles. The pellet hopper can be emptied using an induced draft fan. The filter screen, installed at the bottom of the crusher, accommodates various particle sizes.
  4. The particles are then subjected to airflow separation, with a blower blowing the raw material from the pellet hopper upwards. By adjusting the airflow, heavier copper particles fall, while lighter materials like plastics are conveyed to the next sorting stage.
  5. If the raw materials are cleanly separated, they undergo grinding and vibrating screening to further separate the copper and plastic. The finer copper and plastic particles enter the screening bed and separation table. The fan airflow needs to be adjusted according to the different materials.
  6. The entire copper wire recycling machine has three outlets: a pure copper outlet, a waste plastic outlet, and a dust outlet. Pure copper, after being screened by the vibrating screen, is fed into the finished product loading trolley through the pure copper outlet. The copper particles are then processed into copper ingots using an automatic briquetting machine and sent to a smelting furnace for further processing. Waste plastics can be fed into the next process, plastic granulation, thus achieving resource recycling.
