Technological Process
There is a significant difference in density between copper and plastic sheathing. Under the combined effects of airflow and gravity, the deflection caused by vibration on a screen surface set at a certain angle causes the denser copper particles to move along the screen surface towards the copper outlet. The plastic sheath, being of lower density, floats on top of the copper particles and flows towards the plastic discharge outlet. This achieves the separation of copper from plastic. The purity of the separation is closely related to the diameter of the cable core. The larger the diameter of the cable core, the purer the separated copper particles and plastic will be.
After scrap cables and wires have been shredded and sorted, fully automated mechanical separation is used to separate the copper from the plastic. This enables comprehensive utilisation of the materials and offers significant economic benefits. The production process generates no dust or secondary pollution. The complete set of equipment features an integrated modular design, facilitating installation, commissioning and transport. Customers need only connect it to a power supply to begin operation. The Mini Copper Wire Granulator Machine offers stable performance and is safe and reliable.
